The Music Machine

Inaugurated as a theatre in 1900 and re-opened as a live music venue in 1977, this is the place where Bon Scott spent his last night, partying and heavy drinking with his friend Alistair Kinnear, who gave him a ride from his flat at Ashley Court in Westminster few hours before. After trying to wake him up in front of his flat and again when they arrived at Kinnear's house in Overhill Road, he left his car with Bon sleeping inside, where he was found dead the day after, on February 19th 1980. The Music Machine changed his name in "Camden Palace" in 1982 and today is known as "KOKO".
