The Record Plant Studios

The Record Plant is a recording studio founded in New York city in 1968 and currently operating in Los Angeles. AC/DC started here the recording of “Ballbreaker” album in 1995 with producer Rick Rubin but left the place because of the dissatisfying room sound, moving to Ocean Way Studios. The original site is now a mastering studio owned by Sony Music Entertainment.
